What is Pipe Line Transportation?

Pipeline transport is the long-distance transport of a liquid or gas via a piping system, typically to a market area for consumption. Generally, liquid and gaseous substances are transported, but solid substances placed in capsules in pneumatic pipes are also transported using air pressure.

Gases and liquids as well as some stable chemical materials can be transported with the help of pipelines. That’s why there are sewage, slurry, water and even beer pipelines; but the most important transportation among them is the transportation of oil and natural gas. Frequently these pipelines are checked and cleaned with “pipeline inspection tools”.
